This year we celebrated the New Year with a little treat and candles. Strawberry and white chocolate mousse to be precise. The kids love to sing happy birthday and blow out the candles, so last year we started to give ourselves a little sweet treat on New Year's eve. Naturally a little bubbly went well with all the celebration and I blew up a couple of pink balloons for the kids.

What a great idea - a birthday for the new year! Something sweet for mom & dad too and everyone's happy.

Lol, I was feeling pretty bad about my cooking skills until I read your comment that the mouse was store bought. THAT I can do!
ReplyDeleteWhere'd you get those fabulous pink straws?
Ha, ha...sometimes things are best left to others, especially by New Years eve. Straws are from 'shop sweet lulu'...I have tons of colours for my 'parties in a box' store.
